Water Line Repair
Water line repair can be required of the service line that connects to your city's water main to your water meter, water heater, or the hot and cold water supply lines located throughout your property.
Water lines can be undergound, behind walls, under floors or above ceilings. These water pipes can be copper, PEX, PVC, HDPE, or a combination of these or others.
Water Line Replacement
Water line replacement is similar to water line repair but larger in scope, possibly much larger, like a whole-home re-piping of polybutylene to PEX or copper pipes.
Water line replacement is most likely going to be required due to the age (or deficiencies) of the existing water lines based on the material they're made of. The cost of water line replacement is going to greatly depend on the material of the new pipes. PEX water lines may be cheaper up front, but do not typically last as long as the more expensive copper water pipes or galvanized steel water lines.
Water Line Installation
Water line installation typically occurs during new building construction, conversion from well water to city water, or during renovations, remodeling, or add-ons.
Depending on the type of water line installation, permits and government inspections and sign-offs are likely required. Whether you're a building contractor subcontracting plumbing work for a new home or homeowner remodeling a basement, we can connect you with a professional water line installation service.
Water Leak Repair
Water leak detection and water leak repair are services that may or may not be offered by a local plumber. There are also companies that only offer one or the other (detection or repair).
Water leaks are usually discovered by a higher than usual water bill, but other symptoms of a water leak can include a sulfur (rotten egg) smell, unexplained water puddles, the sound of water running or dripping, or mold and mildew. All property owners or managers should know exactly where their water shut-off valves are in the event of an emergency.
